The best part of this work is empowering people to set up their own polished production spaces, so they can look and sound amazing in marketing videos.
Lighting, sound, what is or isn’t behind us in our camera shot, all matter! We can be the brightest, most successful person ever; but if we record a poorly lit video with no microphone and a dead plant in the shot behind us, that credibility goes right out the window. Lighting
In this module, you will learn how to set up professional lighting for your videos. Lighting can make us look bright, awake, and professional. On the flip side, depending on how the lighting is set up, it can make us have dark circles under our eyes and enhance every line on our face. In this module, you will learn how to light yourself well in a small space.
Framing
In this module, you will learn about framing your shot to give your video the right look and feel for whatever your application may be. Framing is what the viewer is seeing of you on camera, almost like looking at you through a picture frame. The way you are framed greatly influences how your viewer sees you and receives your message.
Microphones
In this module, you will learn about a couple of different microphone options, how to use the mic, where to put it on your body, as well as do’s and don’ts. You should use a microphone, so we can hear you clearly in your videos. Without a microphone, the sound tends to be more hollow and less intimate, which can make your audience feel less connected to you.
Backdrops
In this module, you will learn how to use a backdrop in your videos. These can eliminate distracting things behind you in your videos, and they put the viewer’s focus right on you. We will look at different backdrops that are available as well as how some of them will look behind you.
Alternative Shot
In this module, you will learn about how to set up an alternative shot in the same small space. This alternative shot will show your viewers a completely different setup for your videos, when you want to change things up.

The How to Set Up a Professional Production Space in Your Bedroom Course is designed to help you shoot professional videos at home.
This course provides a proven foundation for setting up your own professional production space at home. However, if you go through the entire course, implement the learnings and STILL don’t see any results, we will issue a refund once you show that you did the work, but got no results. We do not offer refunds based on a change of mind. We will ask you to show us proof that you’ve implemented the strategies.
You have a full 14 days to navigate the course before requesting a refund. If your refund request does not include all required coursework within 14 days of enrollment, student’s refund will not be administered. All refunds are under the sole discretion of the On-Camera Performance Coaching Team. We stand behind our integrity and customer satisfaction.
